Lacey
Lacey is a 10 year old Doberman mix that is just as sweet as can be! She did not seem like a 10 year old pup on our shoot and was full of energy! Heather told me that she loves balls and that was a huge help when it came to getting Lacey’s attention!
I met Heather, Lacey and Heather’s daughter at the Eagle River North Fork Trail this past fall to take Lacey’s calendar photo! I had only been to this trail once before in the winter with Sue and Yukon (see their winter session here!) and the fall weather did not disappoint! We had such a hot summer which led to a strange fall where the leaves were just falling off the trees in Anchorage and not changing colors. Eagle River had much better colors and I was glad that Heather was willing to drive a little bit to get some gorgeous colors! Lacey was perfect for the fall shoot! Her black and brown stood out so well from the autumn colors.
Some of my favorites from this session are the ones of Lacey and her human sister on the bridge. I absolutely love their interactions and how much love there is between them. Thanks so much you three for venturing to Eagle River to find some fall colors with me!
