Jackson
Look at this cutie! Jackson is a 2 year old mix from Alaskan Animal Rescue Friends. He was adopted at 8 weeks old by his owner, Cinnamon. While walking in to the adoption event, Cinnamon and Jackson locked eyes and the rest is history! These two are super close and you can tell how much Jackson loves her.
For our session with Jackson, I knew I wanted to incorporate fireweed so we went to Turnagain Pass to take advantage of the massive amounts of fireweed that is there as well as gorgeous mountains! When I was making this fireweed plan specifically for Jackson, I definitely misgauged his size. From his calendar competition photo, I thought that he looked about the size of a lab. Nope! He’s about 20 pounds but he was perfect for the fireweed even if he was a little bit smaller than I originally thought!
Jackson was a fantastic model for me. I had to find just the right height fireweed for this cutie and both he and Cinnamon were so patient with me while I searched for good spots. We found some great spots for this little guy and I love his smile in so many of the photos. Thank you Jackson and Cinnamon for braving the summer construction traffic to do our session at Turnagain Pass!
